"I booked Sou’d Up after seeing them perform at a New Years Eve party at a Surrey pub in Dec 2019. Our group of friends danced all night long to Soul’d Up’s amazing renditions of soul and funk classics. It was like listening to the original recordings but performed live and I realised this was not just another pub band! I spoke briefly to a couple of the musicians and I was told stories about famous artists they had played with previously. I asked for a card because I knew that when I retired I wanted this band to play at my party. I thought I had just met the Wrecking Crew! Two and a half years later I finally retired and booked Soul’d Up (the bands name being very apt too!) They played at my private party in a Surrey pub garden and 60 guests were absolutely blown away by the sounds. The pub management were also blown away asking for the bands contact details saying it was the best they had ever seen there! What more can I say? Richard, Spy, Ollie, Mark and vocalist Sheila are amazing and I would not hesitate in recommending them! 11/10 "

PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our disco & funk bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our disco & funk bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
