Harpists for Corporate Event Hire in Maidstone
Latest reviews of our Corporate Event Harpists in Maidstone

"What a talent. From initial contact with Annika, I found her to be extremely polite and professional. Emails were answered promptly. I was able to view samples of her playing the harp. Also able to choose extra songs to suit the couples needs. Arrangements were carried out with great detail. The wedding day was very hot, therefore Annika was late in starting, not her fault, as all guests were advised to remain indoors prior to the ceremony whilst Annika remained under the pergola. She adjusted her timings and played longer in the dining room. I would thoroughly recommend Annika to anyone holding that special event. My son and his new wife, along with all the guests are still talking about it a week later. A memory to cherish. Thank you very much to all who were involved in ensuring it all went to plan."
Stephen hired Annika for a Wedding (available in Maidstone)

"Laura was absolutely wonderful and we couldn’t have asked for a better harpist to be part of our wedding. She was friendly, punctual and brilliant with communication in the lead-up to the day. Her music during our wedding breakfast was beautiful, and all of our guests commented on how much they loved it. We sadly didn’t get the chance to say goodbye after the wedding breakfast, but we wanted Laura to know just how much we enjoyed having her be part of our special day. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful live music and a lovely person to work with. "

What kind of music will a harpist perform?
Harpists usually play music from a large classical-style repertoire. However, many harpists will be able to play a selection of pop music as well. Make sure to let them know ahead of time what kind of music you'd like them to play and they'll be more than happy to accomodate you!
How much space will the harpist need to perform? Do I need to provide anything?
Harpists need an area of about 2m x 3m to perform in. You will also need to be provide adequate cover for them, to protect from the sun/rain - the surface should also be flat, firm, and dry. Grass is usually a no-no, so if they are to perform on grass, make sure a solid mat is handy. Wet harp = sad harpist.
I want a harpist to perform at my wedding: which parts of the wedding should they play?
Most commonly, harpists will perform during the following parts of the ceremony: seating of the guests, entrance of the bride, signing of the registry, and the walk-out. If you want the harpist to provide music for the reception, make sure you tell them well in advance if it's at a different venue - moving a harp at short notice ain't easy!
