Richard hired Laura Marquino Falguera for a Wedding (available in Chelmsford)

"Hi Lucia. I just wanted to share a message to thank you again for your beautiful performance on Saturday. We so appreciated you learning new songs for us and my nan has not stopped speaking about how much she loved having a harpist at her party. You played so elegantly and flawlessly (and not an easy thing to do with little kids running around either) so I was so impressed. I hope you enjoyed it too. I particularly liked bittersweet symphony and she will be loved. They sounded great. I hope you get a chance to use them again. Thanks so much."
Richele hired Lucia Foti for a Private event (available in Chelmsford)

"Laura was absolutely phenomenal, punctual, responsive, professional and very polite. Her music talent is brilliant my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The harp is a beautiful instrument and Laura plays it so well. The experience itself was amazing but the harp definitely made the experience more memorable. I highly recommend Laura. I will 100% use her again in the future. Thank you Laura, the experience was incredible! "

What kind of music will a harpist perform?
Harpists usually play music from a large classical-style repertoire. However, many harpists will be able to play a selection of pop music as well. Make sure to let them know ahead of time what kind of music you'd like them to play and they'll be more than happy to accomodate you!
How much space will the harpist need to perform? Do I need to provide anything?
Harpists need an area of about 2m x 3m to perform in. You will also need to be provide adequate cover for them, to protect from the sun/rain - the surface should also be flat, firm, and dry. Grass is usually a no-no, so if they are to perform on grass, make sure a solid mat is handy. Wet harp = sad harpist.
I want a harpist to perform at my wedding: which parts of the wedding should they play?
Most commonly, harpists will perform during the following parts of the ceremony: seating of the guests, entrance of the bride, signing of the registry, and the walk-out. If you want the harpist to provide music for the reception, make sure you tell them well in advance if it's at a different venue - moving a harp at short notice ain't easy!
