Bianca began studying the harp at age seven in Chantilly, France, and has been charmed by the instrument ever since. In 2019 she completed her Masters degree in harp at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and in 2016 she graduated with a First Class Honours degree from Durham University in Spanish, Chinese and Music. She also studied for two years at the Royal Conservatoire of Madrid. Bianca combines her love of harp with a passion for singing, theatre and story telling. This has taken her to venues in China, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Porto, Theatre Royal Bath, Durham Gala Theatre and even Disneyland Paris! She recorded a CD with the storyteller Francis Maxey called 'The Daemon and the Harpist', and worked on the Bristol Old Vic Theatre’s production of Coram Boy. Bianca has a lot of experience teaching, including with the Sage Gateshead Young musicians programme, Ruth Faber harp courses and Hackney Rhapsody. Bianca plays for weddings, parties and any other event seeking a harpist or harpist singer!

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help you have the best event possible. If timings change slightly just let me know as soon as possible.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually arrive 40 mins before the performance to get the harp in place, tune and have a small warm up. If this isn't possible just let me know.

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Absolutely - I've include all travel costs, including the transport of my harp, in the quotes

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

None at all - my instrument is played acoustically so I don't need any equipment. If it is raining then I will need full cover or to perform indoors as my instrument is valuable and could be damaged.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc. The fee will depend on how hard the song is and how long it is.

Bianca was asked to play background and accompanying music at our recent wedding at Beckford Tower in Bath. She gave a lot of thought to music that would be suitable for the occasion and furthermore, researched and learnt pieces that we requested. She also went out of her way to rehearse with the soloist resulting in a beautiful rendition of a modern song. All guests were enchanted with her harp playing and she helped make the occasion very special. We would unreservedly recommend Bianca.
