"Absolutely blumming brilliant! Everyone was commenting on how good you were & where I found you so lots of high praise. You were all so friendly & professional but also accommodating and approachable. Was really easy to communicate with & not a stress or problem in sight. May not have been the crowds your probably used to but please be assured you were very much enjoyed and appreciated and really brought the party so thank you so much. Thanks also for our wedding dance, not your usual repertoire but the fact that you performed it yourself was appreciated and gave us a really special memory we will keep in our hearts forever. A lot of our guests couldnât make the event due to the dreaded neurovirus bug & it even hit myself and my husband a few days before the wedding as well as most of the wedding party so the wedding itself very nearly didnât happen at all. Fortunately those who did make it and managed to stay until the end thoroughly loved and enjoyed your music and we managed to muster up a loyal group on the dance floor which I hope showed at least some of our appreciation to you. I particularly was so excited to have you at our celebration and I was not disappointed, you played all my faves and despite the lack of people you still gave us your best so thank you for that. Can any party band play my favourite song?
Professional party bands will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that party bands may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the party band's song list on their Encore profile.
How much time do party bands take to set up?
Your party band will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the party band prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performerâs PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our party bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to ÂŁ10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our party bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
