The Golden Pocket Collective were great from the start - they helped us build the entertainment we wanted for our whole day and it was perfect. We saw the 5-piece line up at another wedding, but decided to go all out with the 9-piece. The horns were epic! Our guests have been raving about the dance floor filler mash-ups.

Kev and his team created us a very personal and brilliant set to celebrate our 30th birthday. They designed a great set and our guests were delighted, amazed and loved the band. They haven’t stopped talking about the evening. Thanks Kev – you and the “Duke of Boots House Band” were – brilliant.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are often praised for our medleys and mash-ups. Some of our favourites include our 'We Are Funky Family' medley that powers through 15 minutes of non stop dance floor fillers and our Dance Medley includes some more modern dance anthems.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We are a collective of professional performers. Our musicians perform all over the world on cruise ships, in theatre shows and at events. We strive to make sure you get what you see in our promo material, however sometimes we call on other high level performers we know and trust.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our 5 piece line up consists of a singer, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. We can add other players to this including another vocal and a horn section (saxophone, trumpet, trombone). This means we can provide a line up anywhere between 5 to 9 piece.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to make sure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly, please contact us to let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we have the option to run your own playlist through our PA system or we can provide a DJ as an add on service.

How much time do you need to set up?

We can usually set up in 90 minutes. This includes a soundcheck. As soon as the PA system is up we can start running a playlist to create an atmosphere!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We have a repertoire list that you are welcome to select preffered songs from. A lot of our songs are carefully crafted medleys and mash-ups and have been curated from years of experience entertaining guests at events. We are, however, happy to talk through our set and we'll do our best to get your preffered songs in the performance.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our prices include a PA system and basic stage lighting. We can provide extra lighting and a sound engineer for your event, please contact us to discuss this. When you make your enquiry we can also discuss the space we would require to to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are happy to discuss song requests - there is always a chance we'll already know it, so feel free to ask! If there's a particularly special song you'd like us to perform, please speak to us and we may be able to learn it. There may be extra fees for this to cover rehearsal times etc.
