Our standard line-up is a dynamic 5-piece band featuring female vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums, with the option to expand to a spectacular 9-piece featuring an additional vocalist and a three-piece horn section for an even bigger sound. We had The Golden Pocket Collective perform at our wedding and I cannot express our gratitude enough! People were dancing all night long and so many guests commented on what an amazing band they are with the mashups of songs to keep people on the dancefloor. Nothing was too much to ask and the communication was excellent from start to finish. Thank you Ash, Kev and the team for an evening we will never forget!

Thank you for providing the entertainment for our end of year party - we looked around for a lot of bands but The Golden Pocket Collective ticked the box for providing a range of music that would appeal to all ages. Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are often praised for our medleys and mash-ups. Some of our favourites include our 'We Are Funky Family' medley that powers through 15 minutes of non stop dance floor fillers. Our Dance Medley includes some more modern dance anthems.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We are a collective of professional performers. Our musicians perform all over the world on cruise ships, in theatre shows and at events. We strive to make sure you get what you see in our promo material, however sometimes we call on other high level performers we know and trust.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our 5 piece line up consists of a singer, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. We can add other players to this including another vocal and a horn section (saxophone, trumpet, trombone). This means we can provide a line up anywhere between 5 to 9 piece.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to make sure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly, please contact us to let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we have the option to run your own playlist through our PA system or we can provide a DJ as an add on service.

How much time do you need to set up?

We can usually set up in 90 minutes. This includes a soundcheck. As soon as the PA system is up we can start running a playlist to create an atmosphere!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We have a repertoire list that you are welcome to select preferred songs from. A lot of our songs are carefully crafted medleys and mash-ups and have been curated from years of experience entertaining guests at events. We are, however, happy to talk through our set and we'll do our best to get your preferred songs in the performance.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We include a professional PA system and a compact stage lighting package as standard, with larger lighting options and a sound engineer available if required, please contact us to discuss this. When you make your enquiry we can also discuss the space we would require to to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are happy to discuss song requests - there is always a chance we'll already know it, so feel free to ask! If there's a particularly special song you'd like us to perform, please speak to us and we may be able to learn it. There may be extra fees for this to cover rehearsal times etc.
