What a band. Could have been any better for our wedding day. They tailored everything to what we wanted and really brought the atmosphere all night. I also recommend the sax in the evening with the DJ, he was amazing! Thanks Gavin & the rush

Absolutely off the scale fantastic! At the planning stage I was overwhelmed with how to go about choosing a great band to play at a big party we were throwing for friends & family. There are hundreds and hundreds of bands showing on line, where you just get a sterile clip of the band playing in a studio set up. It's almost impossible to get a sense of how that band would be live or what its personality is. This is not the case with Gavin's band, The Rush. There are superb samples of them playing at actual live events to give you a true idea of what you'd be booking. The testimonials are just incredible. Review after review can't talk highly enough about the contribution this band will make to your event. So all of this was enough to make me get in touch with Gavin. That was the next great tick in the box. He could not have been more helpful, friendly and easy to deal with, His sole aim was to listen to what we wanted, ask about our ideas and then spend plenty of time talking about the band's approach, his and their experience, and how on the night, they would go about delivering the party we had in our mind's eye. Nothing was too much trouble and the sense of knowing we were in very experienced and expert hands was evident throughout the whole build up to the event. On the night itself, the contribution that The Rush made to the success and the lasting memories of our party cannot be overstated. You only had to look around at the time to know that there was a major success of a party taking place. EVERYBODY was up and dancing - and that never happens. The energy, the joy, the vibe, the sheer happiness, as everyone let their hair down and went for it was truly palpable throughout. In between sets Gavin took to the decks and provided such a well judged & in the moment DJ stint, that was totally seamless between the live music and the tunes he chose from our list, that people hardly noticed the change. In the last hour we had the band's saxophonist playing to some of our favourite numbers and this brought the evening to an incredible crescendo. After the party and since, the band has been the single most mentioned feature of a whole weekend of celebration - and deservedly so. They put their whole selves into the performance. They were clearly loving what they did, not just going through the motions and what Gavin brought to the party was so much more than just a good lead singer of a good band. Wow, did we luck out when we stumbled across this band on-line. Do not hesitate to book them for whatever celebration you are planning. Ours was intergenerational and Gavin knew how to work the room and his band so that everyone felt included and had the time of their lives. I would give more stars if I could...
