"I had a brilliant experience. Jimmy was really nice to speak to both before and during the party. Nothing at all was a problem. He was there before me setting up and co ordinated with the venue too. He had a huge choice of songs to request for his live sets and provided dj music for us all eveing. He has a lovely voice and sounded great. I was too busy dancing to watch him but his guitar skills were brilliant. He dedicated a song to my daughter, it was such a special evening and 100% it was made by have Jimmy. I would happily reccomend him to anyone and would book again without hesitation. He was lovely with all my guests and took requests on the night too. It couldn't have been better. Jimmy is very polite and always gets back to you promptly, very professional and a gentleman. Thank you so much for being a part of my birthday celebrations and making it the night it was. Professional singing guitarists will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. How much time do singing guitarists take to set up?
Your singing guitarist will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the singing guitarist prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our singing guitarists are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our singing guitarists will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
