Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I offer a relaxed and soft background to any event. Clients love that atmosphere I create and is perfect for most intimate settings and events.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Many local bars and pubs in Yorkshire, Barnsley Live, Sheffield bars and pubs. Bolton Castle

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Buster B Jones and Tommy Emanuel are my main source of inspiration

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Barnsley Live, Marsden Mechanics, Chapel Allerton Festival HMV

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I can be as flexible as possible, just let me know the new arrangements as soon as possible. If there is an overlap with another booking we will inform you immediately.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

There is an option to link a phone to the PA system I can set this up in advance, this would need to be arranged in advance. We can also prepare in advance a music file to play a list you provide. This will be only available between my sets and max of an hour afterwards for a fee, tba.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually only need 30 minutes, but like to arrive an hour before to make sure everything can be set up, sound checked smoothly.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

I am happy to chat if there is a particular song you desire for me to play that is not on my repertoire, I would be able to perform this, subject to what it is and the time I have to practice for you. I am more than happy for you to request particular songs from my list that you want me to play.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I just need a mains supply 13 amp socket to plug into, an armless chair, and people to play to!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Depending upon time and the type of song, I can look at learning a song for you, there is a fee of £50 for this to take into account rehearsal time.
