Music is incredibly important to me and I believe that it's meant to be shared! Live music lifts any event and I love performing great songs for amazing audiences. I've been playing and singing since I was tiny. I chose to study music at university and this gave me many incredible experiences performing to huge crowds and honing my skills. I performed throughout university and beyond into my professional life - in local music venues, at pubs and bars, at festivals, and at weddings and events. Particular highlights have been performing at Montreux Jazz Festival and at my sister's wedding. With an eclectic music taste, I enjoy performing in a range of styles including pop, jazz, blues and rock but I am always looking for new music, so please do send any song requests! As well as performing, I write original music and I work as a music therapist.

Charlie was simply amazing! Her voice was incredible and she was a personal highlight of our wedding for me. Our guests all commented on how beautiful her singing was, I really couldn't fault her. Charlie was beyond lovely and a very talented artist. She played at a celebration party for my sons baptism. She contacted me straight away to ask if we had any requests. Charlie learnt several personal songs for us which really made the day so special and personal. Her singing was beautiful and we had so many people comment afterwards how much they enjoyed listening to Charlie! If we ever have another event we will definitely be booking Charlie again. What do your clients love most about your performances?

All my performances are tailored to suit the vibe of your event - whether it's chilled out background music whilst people eat and drink, or an upbeat acoustic party set to get the dance floor moving, I work with you to establish the right feel for the music before the event, then off we go!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed in local bars and restaurants, a range of music venues across the country, and large party venues for corporate events. I have performed in people's homes and gardens, as well as churches and wedding venues.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I grew up listening to the music of bands like Queen and Pink Floyd. As I explored my own music tastes, I became heavily influenced by artists like Florence + The Machine, David Bowie, and the Arctic Monkeys. I also love jazz - Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone are my two favourites. I love loads of music - currently listening to Olivia Deane and Sam Fender!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I performed at the Montreux Jazz Fesitval a few years ago and at another event, I got to work with Bill Laurance (Snarky Puppy) culminating in a large gig. I've played at several festivals, headlining one.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can play a suitable playlist through the PA before and between sets and during pack down, free of charge. Just let me know what you'd like and I'll try to make it happen.

How much time do you need to set up?

It depends on the size of the event, but I usually need about 45mins for set up time before the performance. As soon as the PA is set up, I can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere for your event.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best in different situations to ensure your guests have the most enjoyable experience. However, I am more than happy to chat with you about this to find out what works best for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own PA system and instruments to suit the needs of your event.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't already included on my set list, please do ask me about it - there's a strong chance I might know it already and it'll be quick for me to pick up in time for your event. I do offer to learn two new requested songs per set as part of my standard packages, so even if I don't already know your song, I will learn it in time for the event.
