"The Covered recently played at mine and my wife’s wedding. They were a hit (to say the least) and I had numerous guests coming up to me to praise the eclectic mix of songs. The music was excellent but I was also really impressed with the professionalism and flexibility of the band too. We were slightly running behind schedule as dinner was taking longer to serve. However, the guys were extremely patient and considerate to this. We really appreciated this. They even let my father in law play along with them too which was a lovely touch. "What can we say other than WOW! We hired Generation Groove to play at our wedding reception and they were incredible! A perfectly personalised set list, awesome party energy, the band were all amazing and Hollys vocals are incredible!! The show traps don’t do them justice!! Holly and the band were very supportive and super easy to deal with and they went above and beyond in supporting our DJ with loan of equipment and set up after they had finished their set. If you’re looking for a band for your party or event we really can not recommend Generation Groove highly enough!! Thanks again guys it was a real pleasure having you there on our special day!!"

Can any party band play my favourite song?
Professional party bands will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that party bands may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the party band's song list on their Encore profile.
How much time do party bands take to set up?
Your party band will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the party band prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our party bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our party bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
