RE-RELEASE is a wedding and party band located in Bristol and is available to perform at various events across the South West. Our musical lineup consists of lead vocals, lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and drums with backline vocal harmonies. We go the extra mile to create that wow factor for you so that your special occasion is memorable. As a wedding and party band, we think it’s important to sound authentic to the original artist and we do! We recognise that every audience is likely to be different and has specific requirements. With this in mind, we have put together a repertoire of hits from the ‘60s right up to the present day, to guarantee a great night's entertainment for every audience, every age group, and every occasion.  So, if you like rock and pop or prefer funk, disco and Motown we will be happy to match your specific requirements to our repertoire of songs. We pride ourselves on providing professional service to you and your guests. Getting the basics right is an important first step in delivering a special performance - we will always turn up to your event on time, be courteous to you and your guests and work hard to make your special occasion a really memorable event. We will agree on our dress code with you in advance as part of pre-booking discussions – so whether it’s a black-tie or a more casual event you can be sure that we will blend in. Listening to a live band is all about what you hear and what you see. You can be confident that we provide both - a full lights show to support our musical performance and entertaining rapport with the audience so that everyone has a great time. With advance notice, we would be happy to rehearse that special slow number for the bride and groom’s first dance, or that special song for those celebrating an anniversary or birthday. In addition to providing top-class live music, we also provide background music to cover intervals. A full DJ service can be provided if this is requested in advance, as part of the booking process.

The band was the perfect fit for this event. The communication pre-event was outstanding. They delivered a varied mix of genres at a nice lick. They got people up dancing, which is the litmus test for any band. On the night, their flexibility around timing was legendary. Thank you.

I booked Re-Release for a military function and what an amazing time we had. Everything including the booking and admin by Dave and his team was spot on. Keeping me updated with everything that the band and myself needed to do to make it a success. The band turned up with plenty of time to spare to set up, once they were ready they went and got changed and transformed into a great looking band. The performances of the night were fantastic with a great selection of music and plenty of people got up dancing earlier than anticipated and a great time was had all around. Overall if you hire Re-Release they will guide you through the process, keep you updated and more importantly impress on the night. Re-Release played at my 60th birthday just the other evening and I’m still trying to recover from dancing all night long 😂🤣😂 They were absolutely amazing & I would thoroughly recommend them. All of my guests were complimentary towards them too. They have a great list of tunes you can choose from along with a really easy & professional booking service too. 💃🏾🕺🏼💃🏾 Can we do this party again soon? I really did not want the evening to end, so, ‘thank you’ Re Release for giving it that extra bit of sparkle

Re-release played our wedding in August ‘24 and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Dave was highly organised and great to correspond with via email, getting everything organised easily. The band have a really great list of songs to choose from and on the night were truly amazing; so many of our guests commented on how talented they were, and we had so much fun dancing the night away! Thanks again re-release, for being so awesome!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients love the range of music we play and the authentic sounds we create for each song. In addition to superb musicianship, we have great singing voices which really helps with authenticity. Above all else, they love us because we create a brilliant party atmosphere and get everyone singing and dancing,

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Loads of pubs, clubs and hotels where we have entertained loads of different clients.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We have really eclectic tastes - pop, rock, indie. motown, We love artists like Queen, The Killers, and Stereophonics to name but a few.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

All our gigs are high profile - irrespective of the size of the venue and crowd we always put on a show which is memorable and appropriate for the audience.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-auditioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable due to holidays or work commitments. As a semi professional band, our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our lineup consists of lead vocals, lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and drums. We sing three-part harmonies when required in each song. Our lineup remains unchanged.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly during the event run-up, just let us know. We reserve the right to negotiate a revised fee if we deem the changes to be material.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer an unmanned disco service for free! We would be happy for you to put your own play list together on your smart phone and we can play this through our PA or you can use our pre set up MP3 sets. We dont provide a traditional DJ service.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need at least 1.5 hours before the performance time for set up and sound check. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system are included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If you see a song in our play list which you would like us to play as your first dance we would be happy to do this at no extra cost. If you require us to learn a special song which is NOT in our playlist (this needs to be compatible for a femai, there would be an additional charge for studios and rehearsal time. Further details can be provided on request.
