With tunes coming in from Amy Winehouse and Alanis Morisette to the Arctic Monkeys and McFly The Bonsais was born out of 4 experienced musicians pooling their minds and influences into one melting pot of dance floor fillers. With a heavy leaning towards Pop and Rock, with a scattering of Soul, Funk and Punk for good measure the band promises to get the party started and keep it going all night! Moving away from the tried and tested route of rigid setlist and the usual function approach (waistcoats and bow ties anyone?) The Bonsais concentrate on rehearsing regularly to keep the set fresh and up to date. The logic being, if the right songs are there and the band loves playing them then the night should be amazing! We've played numerous weddings, events and festivals of different sizes and profiles and have the experience and know-how to make your party the best it can possibly be! We mix the set up with pop, rock and soul classics as well as modern twists on some modern bangers! We don’t expect you to just get up and dance, our aim is to make it impossible for you to sit down! We have played all over and can travel but are based in Bath/Bristol.

The Bonsais were brilliant. They provided a great atmosphere, high energy and kept everyone up and dancing the whole night long. A lot of our guests commented on how exceptional they were and we would highly recommend them.

We couldn't have chosen a better band for our wedding - The Bonsais were fantastic! They were very responsive in the lead up to the event and even let us know when they were doing gigs so we could see them before we booked. They were very professional on the night and kept everyone dancing the whole time! We've had so many family and friends telling us how great the band were since the wedding. Thank you all so much for making our wedding so much fun!

The guys were brilliant. They set up on the stage we'd fashioned and blew us away. We were exhausted by the end! In a really good way!

They absolutely rocked our jubilee event! It was a big field of people to keep happy but they managed it with ease! I've booked them for my birthday next year too.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Usually. We have two singers who are fully rehearsed with the set and are of equal quality so the performance is never impacted if the usual singer can't perform for any unforeseen reason.
