"We hired Cola Sounds initially for some reception drinks but they ended up playing through our wedding meal too. There’s not much more I can add that Natalie B hasn’t already covered! Tara and Craig are both such lovely people and my wife and I can’t thank them enough. They played her down the aisle to a beautiful Ellie Goulding song and then blew our guests away with some upbeat songs for our reception. During dinner they provided a wonderful ambiance and their sound was perfect throughout! We did ask them if they would like to stay on as guests and enjoy the rest of the evening, but they had to travel. Can any acoustic duo play my favourite song?
Professional acoustic duos will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that acoustic duos may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the acoustic duo's song list on their Encore profile.
How much time do acoustic duos take to set up?
Your acoustic duo will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the acoustic duo prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our acoustic duos are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our acoustic duos will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
