We are Hannah and Jessica gilder. We are a sister's duo that have been singing together for years! Wanting to make your even a special one!

Acoustic duo

West Sussex

Hannah and Jess Gilder are an acoustic duo based in West Sussex. The sisters started singing together at a young age, and have a passion for music and performing. The girls focus mainly on playing acoustic cover songs from a wide range of genres; Jazz, indie, rock, R&B, and much more. They have played in a number of venues from small local pubs, restaurants to larger venues such as the Roundhouse in Camden, where the sisters won a young musicians competition. With their soulful harmonies and clear love for singing, the Gilders can fill any event with their sound, providing atmospheric entertainment for a range of venues.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our connection as sister's. We have formed an incredible connection as performers through our years of experience singing together.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The roundhouse in London comes to mind. We have performed in hotels, bars, and wedding venues!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If your timings change please feel free to contact us!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No, we only provide the music that we perform which is our voices and a guitar!

How much time do you need to set up?

Set up time will differ depending on whether or not it is an acoustic set (just using guitar and vocals) or whether pa is required. Usual set up is between 20-40 minutes.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Myself as the lead singer can roam around, however Hannah, the guitar player, usually stays seated during performances, however this can be altered if this is an issue.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We usually like to work with our own songs with a specific genre that you have picked in mind, however we would love to talk to you about the set list to see if we can perform some songs that you have chosen specifically, this will usually include 3-7 of your chosen songs.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

PA is not usually included as we are an acoustic duo, however if you can not provide pa we may be able to come to an arrangement depending on the dates of the performance where we provide pa.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We can learn song requests however we must know them a month in advance.
