We are a collective of experienced, engaging, and passionate jazz musicians based in Brighton, performing close to 300 gigs a year across the UK and beyond. Specialising in the timeless sound of the Great American Songbook, our style is deeply inspired by icons such as Chet Baker, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, and Andrea Motis. With our charismatic, yet sophisticated approach, we bring the golden era of jazz into the modern day, creating unforgettable experiences for audiences of all kinds. Our musicians are not only steeped in jazz tradition but also versatile performers with backgrounds across a wide range of genres including funk, soul, reggae, ska, rock, and pop. From soulful ballads to high-energy swing, our repertoire is both vast and carefully curated to suit the atmosphere of each event. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of performing at some of the UK’s most renowned venues and festivals. Highlights include appearances at Brighton Jazz Festival, Love Supreme Jazz Festival and Rock Oyster Festival, where we shared the stage supporting Nile Rodgers & Chic. Alongside these large-scale shows, we are regularly booked for luxury weddings, corporate events, and private parties, as well as intimate public gigs in local venues that allow us to stay connected with our Brighton community and loyal following. Many of us are not only seasoned performers but also teachers and events managers, bringing an additional layer of experience and professionalism to everything we do. This balance of artistry and organisation ensures that every booking runs smoothly, with an emphasis on both musical excellence and client satisfaction. Depending on the occasion, we feature flugelhorn, vocals (male and/or female) saxophone, trombone, guitar, piano, double bass, and drums, allowing us to adapt our sound to everything from subtle background sets to headline performances. For clients looking for something additionally interactive and memorable, we also offer live swing dance lessons as part of our act; an engaging way to get guests moving and make the evening truly special.
