With a wide range of performance experience at Weddings, Parties, Festivals and Corporate events we can adjust what we do to reflect exactly what suits the occasion. Having performed for clients such as Rolex, John Lewis and ASOS, at venues including The Brighton Grand and The Savoy we can add a classy and sophisticated accompaniment to your event. We have had Ian perform at many of our events and he consistently creates the perfect atmosphere. This time, joined by a fantastic singer, the duo delivered an exceptional performance at our work event at The Savoy London. Their three well-paced sets, with background music in between, struck just the right balance - enhancing the atmosphere while allowing conversations to flow effortlessly. Both Ian and the singer were professional, incredibly talented and a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend them to anyone seeking outstanding live music!

I had the pleasure of welcoming The Velvet Keys to provide background musical entertainment at two VIP charity dinners for Martlets Hospce, and they were absolutely fantastic. From start to finish, the duo created a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the tone of each evening. The singer’s voice was truly exceptional, and they struck just the right balance between classic favourites and contemporary gems, adding to the ambiance throughout both events. Their professionalism and sensitivity to the flow of the evening meant guests could enjoy their conversations over dinner while still appreciating the high-quality music in the background. Both events received glowing feedback from attendees who loved the vibe they brought to the room. I would highly recommend The Velvet Keys for any event where you want to create a relaxed yet refined atmosphere with superb live music. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again!

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Female Vocals & Male Vocals with Keys. Both performers sing. We are available to work with backing tracks should you wish.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Communication is key! We will do our best to accommodate the situation.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

Minimal time to set up. 1 hour is more than enough. We are happy to curate a playlist before the show starts or play your playlist through our PA.

Can you roam around while you perform?

We can perform acoustically without microphones.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We are happy to chat through any song ideas/genres although our set list has entertained many.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

PA is included.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes if a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
