"Ellen was absolutely fantastic! We booked her to perform at the start of our joint 50th birthday celebration, and she was the perfect choice. From the outset, Ellen was incredibly professional and easy to work with. We had a call with her before the event and were immediately impressed by her organisation and enthusiasm, which made us feel completely confident we were in great hands. She provided a wonderfully varied song list, and we had so much fun choosing our favourites for her to include on the night. Ellen performed two 45-minute sets, singing and playing acoustic guitar beautifully. Professional singing guitarists will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our singing guitarists are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our singing guitarists will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
