Vintage Bands for hire in Wakefield
Latest reviews of our Vintage Bands in Wakefield

"Mat and the Jazz Pops made our wedding celebration one to remember. They ensured the dancefloor was filled from the moment they began playing to the moment that Mat stopped DJing. They chose a fabulous playlist of songs to keep all four generations of family entertained. Many of our family members are live music enthusiasts and they were all singing their praises for the Jazz Pops. They all looked the part in formal wear which added to the good vibes. They worked effectively around the sound rules of the venue to ensure the party was loud but respectful. They also ensured the set up and take down were unintrusive to the guests and they were ready to begin playing promptly. Mat ensured clear and concise communication throughout the process. Although the band provided a playlist they knew would keep the dancefloor filled, they allowed us to request favourites and tweak the playlist if necessary. "

"The swingers were amazing. We booked a four man line up for our wedding and they absolutely smashed it. Real showmen, excellent musicians, got everyone dancing, managed the crowd, just perfection. Everyone commented on how great they were and asked how we’d managed to find them. Worth every penny "

My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our vintage bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our vintage bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
