Kibitz

Kibitz are a 6 piece instrumental band from Leeds performing energetic and soulful music inspired by traditional Eastern European and Klezmer tunes, tinged with jazz improv and haunting melodies driven with pulsating Darbuka beats. We have recently been played on BBC Radio Introducing and are currently looking for more bookings in 2017. As a band we perform regularly in Leeds and the surrounding areas at gigs, weddings and private functions. In terms of line up we have played everything from an accordion and violin duo up to a full 6 piece– clarinet, violin, accordion, bass, guitar and percussion. This depends on the size of the venue and the nature of the event.
