"Amuse Manouche were simply brilliant. They played at the weekend at my birthday event and were perfect, all my friends commented on how fantastic they were, and how great the ambience was. Their musicianship is excellent (we had a trio: Sam the vocalist, with a lovely voice, and guitar and double bass) with a great range of songs- I had asked for a mix of gypsy and jazz numbers. They were also great to deal with. My only regret is that they were 'background' music, as I wish I could l have spent the whole evening just listening to them! "

Can any gypsy jazz band play my favourite song?
Professional gypsy jazz bands will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that gypsy jazz bands may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. How much time do gypsy jazz bands take to set up?
Your gypsy jazz band will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the gypsy jazz band prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our gypsy jazz bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our gypsy jazz bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
