The Chris Rasdale Jazz Collective is an exciting new Highland-based jazz line-up led by professional violinist Chris Rasdale. Based near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, Chris has been performing professionally for over 30 years. Over that time, he has built a reputation as a versatile, experienced and engaging musician, performing at weddings, corporate events, private functions, ceilidhs, concerts and live music venues across Scotland and Europe. The Chris Rasdale Jazz Collective brings together violin, piano, guitar and bass, creating a classy and energetic sound rooted in gypsy jazz, jazz standards, as well as original compositions. Chris leads the band on violin, drawing particular inspiration from Stéphane Grappelli and the classic Hot Club style. The band can provide relaxed background music for drinks receptions and corporate settings, or a more lively performance for guests who want something with energy, personality and flair. The Collective is an exciting new line-up, bringing together experienced musicians with a strong professional background. This is an excellent band ideal for clients looking for something a little different from the usual event band. The Chris Rasdale Jazz Collective is particularly well suited to corporate events, weddings, private functions, drinks receptions, restaurants, hotels and high-end celebrations. The music works well in a range of settings, from elegant background jazz to a more focused live performance where guests can really enjoy the musicianship. For clients looking for sophisticated live jazz with warmth and character, The Chris Rasdale Jazz Collective offers a distinctive and professional choice.
