Gypsy Jazz Bands available to hire in Northumberland
Latest reviews of our Gypsy Jazz Bands in Northumberland

"Romacaleo rolled with the punches when our day schedule was running behind, adapting to perform one longer set for us to maximise the music we could enjoy in the allotted period. They brought fantastic lighting and sound equipment which created some great photos of our wedding dances and were happy to use spotify recordings of favourite bands like the Beatles or to play live versions of songs such as lady in red. When it came to their klezmer set, I could not be happier- the band were energetic, masterful and true connoisseurs of their various instruments. They brought a variety of tempos, some well-known and lesser-known tunes, and carried a marvellous atmosphere. I was especially hopeful for a lead clarinet, being a clarinettist myself, and was not disappointed by the breadth of tone, technique and musicality provided by Martin, including some impressive flutter tonguing. The drummer was the perfect blend of timely and relaxed, and the whole band gelled together as one with a friendly and joyful demeanour. They truly came through (and quite last minute!) to contribute to a perfect wedding day. Finally, they accompanied my mum singing an original song (jazz) which she surprised us with as a wedding gift, and made the transition between genres beautifully. I can't imagine a better band experience. Even when the promised elevator was not an option, they lugged their gear up steps with cheerful expressions. 100/10 to romacaleo ❤️!"
Sarah hired The Ministry of Swing aka Romacaleo for a Wedding (available in Northumberland)

"Rob and Dave were absolutely brilliant: Easy to communicate with, self sufficient, and genuinely lovely people to be around. At pretty short notice the two helped to make our 40th business anniversary party truly memorable, our guests loved them. Thank you!"
Jasper hired Ain't That Got Swing for a Corporate event (available in Northumberland)

"We booked Rob and Dave for our wedding, and although our expectations were already very high from their demo videos, they exceeded them and very much helped make our day perfect! They were very easy to work with, the booking and planning process was seamless and they are very flexible in terms of requests (though we wanted more traditional gypsy jazz which they were also very happy to do). As well as being very talented gypsy jazz guitarists, they obviously love what they do and it was fantastic meeting them properly after. They completely elevated our afternoon, creating a fun and energetic yet classy cocktail hour. I would recommend Ain't That Got Swing to anyone wanting great music that will put a smile on people's faces at any event as they did for our wedding. These guys are fantastic!"
