Your guests will be blown away by the creativity and style of the band lineups. We are extremely versatile and can perform in anything from a smaller roaming band up to a full disco/house show ! Vintage/retro options are available as well as a standard party band lineup. Any style - anywhere ! The musicians really are top class too. The band is made up of session musicians that annually tour with The Four Tops, The Temptations, Tavares, Freda Payne, The Platters, Martha Reeves and The Three Degrees to name but a few. For older guests or fans of the original jazz hits, we also have a huge repertoire of older jazz and swing standards if required. The band is totally flexible and can be hired from a background music duo up to a full blown musical extravaganza with brass section, violin and multiple vocalists.

Craig Elliot and his band were absolutely perfect for our wedding and one of the best decisions we made. Craig and the band are pure professionals – they wove together our song requests and the overall vibe we were going for so flawlessly. The 4-piece band (piano, guitar, drums, sax) sounded phenomenal, learned our first dance song, and filled our venue with awesome music. Guests have continued to rave about them! The band handled coordination and logistics with our separately-hired DJ and the evening ran without a single hiccup. If Craig and his band are available – hire them!

Craig & the rest of the guys were UNREAL. We had them at our Staff Party and they were amazing - so flexible and accommodating, very quick to respond and got everyone up and dancing - they really made the night and created a buzzing atmosphere. Could not recommend enough!

We booked the THE ROAMING BAND UK trio (piano, drums and saxophone) to perform at our wedding and they really made the night! We wanted a fun atmosphere that would get everyone up and dancing, and they provided that and more! Craig is not only talented but also arranged everything in a highly professional manner, including a DJ recommendation which allowed seamless transitions throughout the night (thanks Kev!). We loved their performance and would highly recommend them for any event!

I booked Craig to play at our wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast as well as him and the band for our reception It could not have gone any better. Craig was amazing as were the band. Everyone had a fabulous time He was easy to work with and very accommodating also very reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend Craig and his band.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes we have a huge amount of variety to suit any event. Anything from a vintage jazz trio up to a 7 piece disco house band.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

As long as timings don't change drastically then it's no problem at all. For example an hour or so in either direction is quite normal.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We actually have our own separate DJ which is highly recommended who takes care of the crowd before/between and after the band sets. This costs around £325 and is well worth it to have somebody there to take requests and manage the dancefloor for the evening. We can however discuss ipad sets if required.

How much time do you need to set up?

Depending on lineup, We usually require around 45-60 minutes to set up but for smaller events and daytime performances we can set up within around 20 minutes.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes we have multiple roaming options available, ideal for corporate events, drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We are always happy to talk about requests and integrate them into our usual set.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes absolutely. The band performances include pa system and lighting for the band area. However we highly recommend the add on DJ who will bring additional equipment and lighting. A great upgrade at a reasonable cost.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, for example learning your first dance is no problem at all
