Appel4 are a gypsy jazz quartet from Yorkshire, playing 'feel good' music from the 1930's and 1940's. The band members' musical backgrounds are as diverse as you could imagine, but they all share a love for the joy and challenges of this amazing music - made famous by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli in 1930s Paris. The band formed in 2017, but have quickly gained a strong Yorkshire following and rave reviews for their electrifying performances

Absolutely superb. Great communication beforehand and on the day itself. Appel4 are excellent musicians and they sounded wonderful in our venue. Our guests clearly enjoyed the set, and the music made our graduation celebration extra-special. We have no hesitation in choosing Appel4 in the future. Thank you!

Fantastic evocative mix of gypsy jazz and blues by a hugely talented group of musicians. Just add a glass of Ricard and a Gitane. Wonderful!

Wasn't sure what to expect. But blown away by this band's talent.
