Latest reviews of our Acoustic Bands in West Glamorgan

"When I first tried to understand the practicalities of having a ceilidh at my wedding in Pembrokeshire I was really not sure what to expect. I found the worried men of gower after a lot of googling and wow what a choice they were. Our wedding was 50% Scots and 50% Welsh and I was very keen to have a proper Scottish ceilidh to get everyone up, dancing and socialising and these guys absolutely rocked it. They kept the energy high, the dances coming and everyone having a ball! They even found time during packing up to keep the party going with us on the dance floor and singing along to some “Pink Pony Club” Honestly they are not just the best ceilidh band in south wales, I’d say they are better than a lot of the bands I’ve heard in Scotland. I cannot thank the guys enough you really did help bring a bit of Scotland to Pembrokeshire for our wedding and we will be forever greatful for the laughs, fun and memories you brought us and our friends and family during the wedding. I hope to have another ceilidh with you guys in the future!! Chris and Ella!"

"The Worried Men are an excellent ceilidh band! They played for mine and my husband's joint 30th birthday party and they were a delight. They had a great mix of dances and tunes and made it a brilliant day for everyone there. Good communication beforehand as well and they were relaxed bearing with us when a number of people got caught in traffic and we had to start late!"

PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our acoustic bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing.
