If you're looking for the perfect blend of smooth and polished, yet vibrant and upbeat music for intimate or loud party atmospheres – then look no further. The Gallivants are composed of musicians with a combined wealth of experience having performed at multiple weddings and private functions in the UK and Western Europe. The Gallivants play a mix of soul/motown, rock n' roll and a great mix of other fun eclectic known songs all the way up to some modern pop tunes to sing along with! We love to even get the guests involved in the fun at times with some backing vocals to liven things up :) We cater for low-key happy and relaxed background-type atmosphere as well as more upbeat atmospheres. The Gallivants are extremely versatile and can accommodate their set to best suit your needs. We are happy to wander amongst your guests and tailor songs to family and friends for an unforgettable personal touch. With a flexible repertoire and expert ability to read a room, the band is committed to making sure your live entertainment is as incredible as possible. The band performances are completely acoustic, but they do offer an add-on package comprising professional PA system. They will also play a first dance or special requests.

Wonderful band and such fun, ad the crowd singing and enjoying themselves. We would have loved to have more. Throughout the wedding plans zack was really responsive to queries exceptionally professional. Would certainly book again

We got married at The Ned in July and booked The Gallivants to kick off our Champagne reception, we couldn't have asked for a better way to start the celebrations - all the guest were up dancing and singing immediately, just having the BEST time! They are all fantastic musicians and such good fun. Prior to the wedding communication was fantastic, very professional... simply great guys to work with. Don't think about it... Book them! Hello! I realised we never said THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You lot absolutely 100% nailed it! We are both so so happy with the glorious soundtrack you provided for our party 😍 The music was amazing, and the energy you all bought was incredible. We knew it was going to be good, but had no idea it would be that good! You got the party started in ways we could never have imagined! Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard full-band lineup is a 4-piece and is: 2 lead vocalists, 2 guitars, 1 double bass, 1 cahon (percussion). We also offer a trio format (the standard lineup minus a guitarist but still boasting 2 great lead vocalists!), and also a premium 5-piece format with saxophone.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible with the client to make sure everything goes ahead smoothly for the event.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, depending on timings we could offer this for £100 to £200.

How much time do you need to set up?

As we are a fully acoustic roaming band, very little time is needed! I'd say 15 minutes, if that. But, we also can offer the "plugged-in set" option through a PA without an issue.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes - we can perform acoustically, roaming around while we perform exept for our percussionist who is stationed on cahon (percussion box).

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £50 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
