“What a wonderful, talented young man! Right from the first point of contact, Matthew was extremely professional and kind. He completely exceeded all my expectations. He played a set of classics from the 50's and the 60's for my mum's memorial. Matthew really honoured my mum. He was respectful, down to earth and such a pleasure to be around. He was a genius on the guitar and his voice was outstanding. The guests were so blown away by his performance that they were talking about him long after he'd left. I can honestly say that he captivated the room with his incredible talent and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I'd choose him again in a heartbeat and I wish him a successful journey ahead. “We booked Tashara for our wedding in April. She was easy to communicate with in advance- sending us a list of songs to choose from but also offering to learn additional ones. We wrote a few extra lyrics for a song we liked which was a little short for a first dance- Tashara was more than happy to learn and sing this for us. She was also amazing on the night. We had a small wedding and wondered if people would get up to dance but it was the perfect mix of her singing to the guests (walking around them as they sat and chatted etc) and singing with the guests when they were up and dancing- she was also very tolerant of the teenagers who wanted to sing with her using her microphone towards the end of the night 🙄😬 if you’re looking for an evening entertainer no matter the size of your event we’d highly recommend Tashara ”

Our singers typically don’t charge per song but rather by ‘set’, typically two 45-minute slots with a 15-minute break. Our musicians are extremely flexible though and can adapt their performances for as long or short as you need them.

What should a wedding singer wear?

Wedding singers will usually work with you to ensure they are dressed appropriately for your event. If you are having a more traditional wedding, they will wear more formal attire and if you’d like a more laid-back feel to your big day, they will wear something more casual to fit in. Important to note, our singers for weddings are more than willing to be flexible on their attire to make sure they don’t clash with your theme, however, you always need to communicate these preferences with them well ahead of time so they can be prepared.

How long do wedding singers sing for?

How long a wedding singer will sing typically depends on which section of the wedding you have booked them for and if you’d like them all day or only for certain sections. It is typical for them to sing for 45 minutes with a 15-minute break during the reception, however, if you would like them to perform longer or at other sections such as dinner or cocktail hour, that is also possible.
