Singer
Kingston upon Thames

I'm an upbeat, happy covers spanning from 60s to present day (with slightly more focus on songs from the 90s onwards). I play classic hit songs with unique verve and energy, featuring lots of 'live lounge' style covers which get crowds singing and dancing along! Genres include pop/rock/indie/R and B/hip hop/singer/ -songwriter/more. I'm a songwriter by trade - I write songs for other artists and sometimes for myself - I'm an originals artist under the same name, and you can find me on an Spotify/Apple Music and everywhere else. I love playing covers gigs because it's such a pleasure to be able to add something to people's big events that are so important to them. Seeing audiences of all kinds connecting with the songs and singing and dancing along makes it all worthwhile, so I try to do all I can to get the crowd involved when it's a party gig, but I'm equally happy to be more of a 'background' musician and set the mood at dinner parties, wedding receptions and corporate events when this is required. Because I'm so keen to make sure you're hearing the songs you want to hear, I'm more than happy to learn new tunes for your event to make sure I'm getting it exactly right - I leave nothing up to chance and always confirm setlists ahead of time to ensure that you're getting exactly what you want. In terms of experience, I've played covers gigs big and small all over the uk ranging from corporate parties for companies like HSBC alongside smaller birthday parties and surprise engagements where it's just me, the bride and the groom there. I've played at Ronnie Scott's, Kensington Roof Gardens, Wilton's Music Hall and loads more - I've done international gigs all around Europe and in the US too! Because of all of this experience I'm confident playing in front of any crowd size, so however big or small your event is, I'm confident that I can handle it.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'll always do my best to be flexible - so just let me know if any timings change!

How much time do you need to set up?

Setting up is a very quick process - all I need is a room that I can make a bit of noise in (so that I can test the equipment) and that's about it! The process takes about half an hour, but leaving 45 minutes is ideal just in case.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely! You can pick whichever songs that you'd like. I am more than happy to give advice too - I've been doing this for years now which means that I often know what crowds want!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I bring everything possible. I also own a battery powered amp which means that I don't need power to play!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I'm more than happy to learn songs to play for an event - the most important thing is being given notice so that I have the time to learn them. I don't charge extra for this - as long as I'm not taking on too much, I'm more than happy to put in the time to learn songs to make your event the best it can be!

Joe was perfect. I requested him to sing three songs for my wifes birthday and our Wedding Anniversary. Not only did he learn them all word perfect but sent me an audio of the songs before the event to ensure that I was happy with them. On the day he was professional, courteous and made us feel at ease. Best of all was a truly great performance. Would definitely book him again if I am in the London Area.

Could not have picked a better person than Joe for our Proposal. He was very flexible when plans, locations and times kept changing. He was very easy to arrange everything with and even learned a few more songs to play for the special occasion. He was amazingly talented and showed up early. Can 100% recommend Joe for any proposal or any event without hesitation. He made us feel at ease, and he made it a very special proposal.
