Singer, actor and songwriter from London Kane Matthews recently finished touring the UK & Ireland with the hit Broadway and West End musical ‘Dreamgirls’ playing the role of Tiny Joe Dixon amongst others. He was also 1st cover Curtis & Marty. He was previously seen in the UK tour of ‘Motown the Musical’. He played the role of ensemble/cover Smokey Robinson. He’s also a lead singer for the Soul & Motown Band Soul Supreme and has played at various events throughout Europe. Other credits include playing at Wembley Arena and the Brighton Centre as part of the musical ‘Love Beyond the Musical’ as well as television credits that include Sunday Morning Live, Top of the Pops, Blue Peter and the BBC One prime time show ‘Making Your Mind Up’. Kane also performs as a singer and songwriter under the name Matt Kane. His work has been featured on acclaimed Spotify playlists and TV stations around the world.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's totally fine, as long as I don't have another booking on the same day.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, any price increase will depend on what you require. Playing your favourite Spotify playlist shouldn't be too much trouble.

How much time do you need to set up?

I'm usually set up within an hour.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are quite particular, but I'm always open to helping facilitate the needs of your event. I'm also up for learning a song or two to give that special touch to your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I have a small PA system that I use regularly. For larger spaces, I also have a full PA system available.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Absolutely, just let me know what you desire,

We want to thank Kane from the bottom of our hearts for getting our Wedding Party started for us. We were specifically looking for a Soul/Motown singer for the first part of the dancing and couldn’t believe our luck when we came across him on lastminutemusicians.The fact that he had performed in Motown The Musical felt too good to be true. Dealing with him during enquiry and booking stage was completely stress free and Kane’s communications were excellent. On the night he certainly didn’t disappoint. In fact he far exceeded our expectations. His smooth, soulful voice was divine and he is a wonderful, fun performer who got almost every single guest up on their dancing feet.
