"We couldn’t have been happier with Bass12 at our wedding! They brought such amazing energy and brought everyone back up after our wedding breakfast. What really stood out was how they interacted with the crowd — roaming around the dance floor, getting guests involved, and creating such a fun, immersive experience. The atmosphere they created was electric, and so many of our guests commented on how much fun they had. The set list was a good mix of music for everyone and pink pony club was particularly well received as everyone rushed to the dance floor for it! "If you want a party, Bass12 are your band! They made our wedding such a riot with a jam packed dance floor all night and such amazing vibes! We had organised for them to surprise our guests after dinner flash mob style and it is one of our fondest memories from the day! Can any brass band play my favourite song?
Professional brass bands will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that brass bands may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the brass band's song list on their Encore profile.
How much time do brass bands take to set up?
Your brass band will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the brass band prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our brass bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our brass bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
