Oompah Cymru are South Wales’ most energetic Bavarian band, performing a sensational oompah show for any Oktoberfest event! All dressed in traditional lederhosen, the band not only looks amazing but sounds it too, consisting of 5 phenomenal musicians all hailing from Cardiff. Their repertoire ranges from traditional Bavarian polkas and waltzes to their own unique take on your favourite rock and pop tunes. Typically, the band will perform up to 3 sets of music for your event with the option to include an assortment of audience participation and plenty of drinking games to keep the party going! We booked a 4 piece Oompah band for our private Oktoberfest event for 50-70 people. Ed and the team were really great and provided the perfect atmosphere for the event. Communication was good; we chose to call mostly because some of my emails weren't received for some reason, but once we were in contact they were realistic about expectations and open to suggestions for the evening. Due to traffic the band arrived later than planned, meaning they were in the process of setting up for the first 30 mins of the event, however they were able to get themselves ready in good time and it didn't detract from the night. Oompah Cymru were awesome! They supported an Oktoberfest event we were running and were spot on. Great communication, happy to listen to our requirements and flexible on the night. They really got stuck in, judged the crowd well and got the party started!
