Hereford Fanfare Trumpets is a group of professional musicians based in the Herefordshire area. We add a special musical and ceremonial touch to many types of occasions, bringing your event to life in style. All our players are hugely experienced in all things ceremonial, having performed at high profile events worldwide, too numerous to mention! Colin Hales, the founder of Hereford Fanfare Trumpets, spent over 25 years as a military musician, the last 15 as Bandmaster. He has composed, conducted, and performed fanfares in virtually any scenario imaginable, even on horseback! Some of Colin's compositions have been very formal, others mixed his depth of skills and passion as a composer and arranger with his knowledge of modern pop music to provide a bespoke musical extravaganza. With Hereford Fanfare Trumpets Colin is offering a new service to Herefordshire and the neighboring counties and with it the exciting opportunity to enrich your special occasion or event with your very own fanfare. All our highly qualified performers (performance degrees in music/composition/conducting etc.) have substantial experience in providing professional level trumpet fanfares for over 30 years apiece. We all have a military background and a proven record of playing for very high-profile occasions on the grandest stages. From Awards evenings at grand corporate events/conferences and graduation ceremonies to Royal visits and TV/film work, we’ve pretty much covered everything at one time or another! We have the ability and experience to tailor your fanfare at your request. For example, last year we wrote a fanfare based on Truly Scrumptious from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang following an enquiry from the bride’s mother! This, together with three other fanfares we played on the day, was then printed out, framed, and presented to the bride and groom as a memento of their big day. * A personalised fanfare We can compose a bespoke piece for your event. This could be a traditional fanfare or more informal, incorporating some of your favourite music. * An enduring memory The sheet music for your bespoke composition can be framed and presented to you at your event as a special memento. * Occasions The following events are all perfect for fanfare trumpets, however, the list of proceedings that would benefit is endless.
