They performed a really great mix of music, really fun to watch perform, and got the whole room dancing. Communication with Emily in the run up to the event was great. They came early and were really prepared and did multiple sets over the space of 3hrs. Would highly recommend if you need a band that is going to bring THE VIBE to your party! "

We had the options of changing the setlist but were reassured that they would tweak it as they go as needed, so put our faith in them to do a great job And they absolutely delivered a great, raucous performance on the day, a really memorable part of our evening entertainment for guests. With everyone on the dancefloor and really great crowd interaction, NLSB put on a great show and really tied the evening together – we strongly recommend. "

Can any brass band play my favourite song?
Professional brass bands will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that brass bands may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the brass band's song list on their Encore profile.
How much time do brass bands take to set up?
Your brass band will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the brass band prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our brass bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our brass bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
