A minimum of 5 x 3 metres would be required for a six-piece band. Remember that a live party band will have to fit the PA, monitors, lighting, guitar amps, drums, and keyboards in addition to the people.
How long will the party band play for?
Generally, professional party bands perform two 1-hour sets or three 40-minute sets, with a 15- to 30-minute break in between. Your band will also require around one hour for setup and soundcheck.
How far in advance should I book a party band?
The best time to book is as soon as possible, especially if you have special musical requests, but Encore handles last-minute bookings all the time and can easily find a function band if you need one quickly.
Do I have to pay for my party band's travel?
Hiring a band for a party with Encore is easy since all fees (travel, VAT, and other expenses) are included in the quote.
