The Canapés are a guitar, violin and vocal harmony duo. When not entertaining the concourse at Heathrow airport or playing sing alongs with David Beckham, they will probably be found playing traditional Irish tunes on the streets of Hampstead. Accomplished and seasoned entertainers they they will tailor their set to the crowd and happy to take requests. The Canapés' repertoire covers everything from Ray Charles to Oasis, The Beatles to Beyoncé and Frank Sinatra to Britney Spears. Between them, The Canapés have played at many UK festivals including Glastonbury, V festival, Wilderness, Latitude, Isle Of White, Reading and Leeds to name a few. They have also appeared on E4, BBC, Radio 1, BBC 6 music and sang ‘Auld Lang Syne’ in the Hollyoaks Christmas special 2018 which is their favourite claim to fame!

Will and Joe were fantastic entertainers at our woodland wedding. We were looking for high quality musicians and they did not disappoint! They played a mix of folk, acoustic and covers for our ceremony, reception and first dance; and we had such great feedback from the guests and the venue. They're also really nice guys and such a hit with the guests. Would highly recommend them to anyone wanting beautiful violin, guitar and vocals at their event! Thank you both 💛🧡💛🧡

Having The Canapés at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. The joy they brought with their upbeat style made our ceremony and terrace drinks so special. They even learnt a song for me to walk down the aisle to which was beautiful. They are both lovely, friendly and professional guys and added so much to the vibe of the day. Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes we can provide an upright bassist to make a trio or bass and drums to create a 4 piece party band.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Not a problem! Just let us know as soon as you can and we will be as flexible as possible to accommodate any changes.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes not a problem, we offer this service for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually aim to arrive one hour before the first set start time, in order to give plenty of time to set up.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes we can roam around, though this would have to be performed fully acoustic and unplugged as our instruments/mic are not wireless.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We get through a huge amount of songs during our sets, but if you have a few that you particularly would like us to play, we are happy to take a note of this and ensure they are in our setlist. Likewise if there are any you don't like we can happily leave them out!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes the use of our PA equipment is included in the price.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. We will learn one song for free and thereafter for any new songs we may need to learn, there is a fee of £20 per song, to take into account rehearsal time.
