The band were happy to make a surprise appearence and wander in to our garden wedding unannounced and then moved around playing to different groups throughout the afternoon. VerifiedI booked Gee for the funeral reception for my late father, and he really turned a day of mourning into a celebration of life - which my father wished for. Gee, played flawlessly, with deep emotion, expression, drama and passion; firstly, putting everyone in a mellow trance and touching their hearts playing a rendition of Louis Armstrong ‘What a Wonderful World’ - one of my father’s favourite songs. Then he energised and lured all guests, young and old, to get up on their feet to dance carefree and sing at the top of their voice non-stop to the specific songs I had requested and Gee's own excellent selection of top Jazz, Soul, RnB, Reggae and Afrobeat. Before the event, Gee took time to find out exactly what type of music I wanted and helped me to select the best songs from different genres to play on the saxophone and was able to translate all the lyrics of the songs skilfully and artfully to the saxophone melody. He hooked all the guests from start to finish with his exception playing and interaction. He was friendly, entertaining, and fun and was the highlight and key talking point for everyone after the event. He made it a very enjoyable and memorable occasion for all, and I was inundated with compliments from guests to pass onto him. Without question, I would definitely book him again for any future special occasion. Indeed, I’m trying to find an excuse to organise an event just so I can hear him play again. He is a Lovely Man, highly skilled, versatile and an absolutely fabulous, killer Saxophonist!
