Swing & Jive band

Public liability insurance of £10 million

Hetty and the Jazzato Band are a young, talented and versatile Anglo-Italian Jazz Quintet, bringing you a taste of the 'Dolce Vita' with their modern twist on vintage, classic Italian songs, gypsy-jazz, swing, and jazz standards in English and Italian. Let the band take you on a Vespa ride back to retro Bella Italia with a mix of Italian swing favourites like 'Volare' and 'That’s Amore' intertwined with rustic Roman Stornelli, romantic Neapolitan ballads, enticing bossa nova and samba rhythms along with foot-tapping rock n' roll and boogie-woogie. Since the band (composed of three Italian, and two British musicians) formed in London in 2014 they have gone from strength to strength. The incredible success of their unique spin on vintage Italian favourites like ‘Tu Vuo’ Fa L’Americano’ (over 14 million views alone), 'Volare', ‘Mambo Italiano’, and many more, has gained the band an international following performances around the globe. Hetty and the Jazzato Band is regularly invited to perform at special events in Italy (Portofino, Pisa, Agrigento, Lake Garda, Gallipoli, Taormina, and Florence, a private party on board a superyacht in Portovenere to name a few). This year they also performed at international Jazz and World music festivals in Greece, Bulgaria, and Ukraine and the Henley Jazz Festival in the UK. Hetty and the Jazzato Band have also been invited to perform at the Moscow Performing Arts center (May 2020) and Open Air Jazz and Blues Festival Valcea in Romania (July 2020). Hetty and the Jazzato Band have performed at events at some of the UK's historical landmarks and most prestigious venues such as: • Her Majesty's The Tower of London • The Royal Albert Hall • Hever Castle • The Royal Academy of Art • The Victoria and Albert Museum • The Shard • The Gherkin • The St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London • The Dorchester Hotel and •One Whitehall Place. The band is frequently invited to perform at a variety of significant Italian events in the UK and abroad including The Italian Awards, Horsham Piazza Italia, Festival Italia in Brands Hatch, Bellavita Expo, Harvey Nichols 'Britalia', Federalberghi Penisola Sorrentina, C Carnevale and ENI's annual celebrations in London. Available from a duo to a quintet, the band is extremely versatile and can provide both elegant background music and get their audiences on their dancing feet. LINEUP Hetty and The Jazzato Band consists of Hetty (Vocals and Violin), Charly (Clarinet/Saxophone/Flute), Riccardo (Drums), Ale (Double Bass), and Fabrizio (Guitar). We also cater to special Italian themes including the Godfather film trilogy, La Dolce Vita, That's Amore (Italian love songs), and Italo-American crooners. SETUP & PERFORMANCE It takes us about 20 minutes to set up and the same amount of time to pack up at the end of the event. Our basic performance package is 2 x 45 min sets with a short break in between sets. Longer options are available on request, e.g. 3 x 45 min sets. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS We require a space of around 3m x 2m and a power source. We provide our own amplification for performances. However, if the venue is very large we may need to arrange the hire of a PA system. ABOUT HETTY Hetty is a singer-songwriter and musician from London. Hetty and the Jazzato Band are absolutely fantastic. Despite not speaking a word of Italian, we were happy listening to them all night - to be fair, they really could have kept singing for the entire evening. I've seen them sing a few times now, and my friends are always impressed with just how amazing Hetty's voice is. I've become a big fan and will defo consider hiring them for any events I have. Also, you'll know most of the Italian songs they sing!
