Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's no problem! Often timings adjust as events get closer. As soon as you know the timings have changed, send me a message and I'll adjust my notes.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can. I can tailor my playlist to suit what music you and your guests want to hear and dance to. If you would like me to play music through my PA up until midnight this will incur an extra fee.

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually around 30 minutes to set up, however for some events I will arrive 1 to 2 hours ahead of the start time to set up before guests arrive. All events are slightly different!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes! My full repertoire is available on my Encore profile, so if there's anything you see that you'd love to hear let me know.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes! Unless the venue I am performing in has equipment that you would prefer me to use, I always bring my own equipment.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Of course! I'm more then happy to learn additional songs, however I do need at least 2 weeks notice for songs requests, as I otherwise cannot guarantee I will be able to do it justice. In addition to that, it depends on the style of the song, but feel free to make suggestions and I will do my best to adapt!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The wide range of music I perform. Every performance has a mixture from soul to rock, with something for everyone to enjoy!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Manchester's o2 Ritz Gorilla, Manchester Night & Day Cafe, Manchester Foodies Festival, Tatton Park Food & Drink Festival, Event City, Manchester Taste of Cheshire Awards

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Stevie Wonder, Muse, Marvin Gaye, Bruno Mars, Jeff Buckley, Ariana Grande, Keane, Coldplay - a huge mixture!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

At Manchester's 02 Ritz, but hopefully more in the future!

Becky has recently sang at two of my sheltered accommodation schemes, once at a Macmillan fundraiser and another time at our Christmas party. She is a fantastic singer who engages with her audience and gives you the choice of what music we would like to hear at our events. I will definitely be using Becky again for many more of our events in future and highly recommend her! A big thank you to Becky, myself and the residents loved every minute of your performance!
