Everyone at the reception kept telling us how much they enjoyed his performance and how amazing he was. James was an absolutely perfect fit for our event, all the kids also enjoyed dancing along to the music, it was nice to see everyone enjoying the music and the atmosphere James created. We would very highly recommend booking James for any event you are planning, his voice is incredible and he is a genuinely lovely person.

VerifiedThese guys were awesome, and were the perfect entertainment for our wedding. Excellent communication throughout, always happy to answer questions or update the quote based on timings etc. changing on our side and super fun on the night. They played some excellent hits (we were even able to select a handful of songs we definitely wanted them to play) and brought great energy and fun to the night. Perfect!

VerifiedAbsolutely fantastic!! Blown away by the sugar brothers, they made our wedding. We had a festival style outside wedding with the sugar brothers as the headliners, it was perfect from start to finish. They were hilarious, engaged well with guests, danced with the kids and let them have a go on the instruments and even pulled us up for a few songs at the end. Proper showmen, absolutely boss! Would recommend and can’t wait to have another function to book them for, just need a reason for another party! The coolest function band for sure. Thanks so much!! The communication before the day with Calvin was second to none as well, accommodated weird and wonderful first dance requests and helped us curate a perfect playlist for in between sets.

We started with a chilled, slower set whilst guests mingled and reminisced on the previous day and then he ramped it up for the evening with a more upbeat set. He had all guests on their feet dancing in the garden by the end of the night. A joy to deal with and we look forward to working with Tom again, some day very soon.

VerifiedOverall the experience was great, we had lots of communication with Rhona who was the band agent for the Monstars and she was lovely. The Monstars band were really good and our guests on the day were complimentary about the music. Our only slight annoyance was the fact we chose The Monstars based on hearing the preview videos and in particular we were really impressed with the lead singers (Adam) voice. We were informed by Rhona 6 weeks before the big day that Adam would not be around for family reasons. These things happen and we were fine with it, however as good as the replacement singer was (Ollie) his style of voice was not what we had wanted for the songs we chose and so the vibe was totally different on the day. Overall a very good experience and we would recommend, perhaps we were just the unlucky ones.
