We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sax player for our wedding! From the very beginning, the communication was fantastic. He was friendly, responsive and organised, which made everything feel easy and stress-free in the lead up to the day. We were able to choose from a huge library of songs, which meant the music felt really personal to us and perfectly suited the vibe we wanted. On the day itself, the energy was incredible. Even though we had a relatively small number of guests, he absolutely brought the atmosphere and kept everyone engaged, dancing and smiling all night long. He read the room perfectly and knew exactly how to keep the momentum going. We’ve had so many guests tell us it was the most amazing time and the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and the music played such a huge part in that. We’re so grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to elevate their wedding day!

Cannot thank m-SAX enough. I had Mark to play sax at my husband's surprise 50th birthday party as its something he has always loved - music/ibiza/sax. This was an amazing night and everyone commented how good Mark was on sax. We would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be having him again without a doubt. What do your clients love most about your performances?

Judging from the amazing feedback I get I think it's that I raise the vibe at all my events, leaving guests impressed and surprised. I absolutely love playing the sax and adding something special to a track that doesn't yet exist and I think it shows. Clients also comment on how confident they are when booking me - I communicate very well which relaxes them.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

It's either performing alongside Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) or for the Queen on 2 occasions. I have also performed for Groove Armada, Shed 7, Judge Jules, Alex P, Brandon Block, The Temptations, Candi Staton, The Stylistics, Percy Sledge, Ben E King, Smokey Robinson, Peabo Bryson and Freda Payne. There's more than that but I have the memory of a goldfish....

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

NOT A PROBLEM! Just let me know asap and I will always be as flexible as I can. Most events rarely run perfectly on time in my experience so this is all just part of the job.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via my PA after the final set, then I can also provide this. Please ask for a quote as the additional costs depend on the finish time.

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually only 20 minutes is adequate but please allow for up to 45 minutes in some cases.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes of course. Some styles/songs are not suitable to have additional saxophone over the top but I'll always try my best.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own sax and radio mic to all bookings. If you don't have a DJ then I can also provide my own BOSE pa system which sounds (and looks) mint!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes of course.
