"Becky and Josh performed at our wedding back in November and just wow! When we started planning our wedding, we weren’t really sure if we wanted live performers. After looking around we can across Becky and Josh performing our walking down the aisle song and our minds were instantly made up, we knew we needed them at our wedding. Becky’s voice is so soft and beautiful, it’s perfect for a wedding environment. Josh’s guitar skills were amazing and so impressive, such an amazing duo. We received so many compliments about them and their song choices. During our wedding breakfast people were stopping what they were doing so that they could sing along. They even played “You’ve got a friend in me” which was especially special as Toy Story was quoted in our vows. "We had the absolute pleasure of having Vincent Brothers play at our wedding, and they were genuinely one of the best parts of the day. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. Early on, they even invited us to attend a few of their live performances so we could be sure they were the right fit. It was such a thoughtful gesture and at that point, I knew they’d be perfect. They were incredibly professional, flexible, and completely open to our ideas. Their performance on the day was flawless. Their Country/folk and bluegrass style created the perfect backdrop for our cocktail hours, setting a warm and joyful atmosphere that all our guests loved. People of all ages were singing along, tapping their feet, and fully enjoying the moment. So many of our guests commented on how brilliant they were. They were also exceptionally well organised and punctual on the day, handling everything smoothly. They only took a short break for the speeches, otherwise playing beautifully throughout. Can any acoustic duo play my favourite song?
Professional acoustic duos will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that acoustic duos may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. You can view the acoustic duo's song list on their Encore profile.
How much time do acoustic duos take to set up?
Your acoustic duo will usually arrive about an hour or so before their performance begins to set up and get settled before they start playing. To avoid any delays, make sure the performance space is ready for the acoustic duo prior to their arrival.
My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?
PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our acoustic duos are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our acoustic duos will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
