🎵 Get to know us 🎵 We are 69 x Mellow, covering your favourite songs, with just a guitar and a mic. 🎶🎶🎶🎶 Freddy and Kelley met on board the Pride Of Hull Ferry when they were both playing in the resident band The Royal Valentines on board for a month. Outside of the Duo, Kelley sings solo at events and pubs around the North of England, and Freddy is a session bassist and seasoned function performer. 69 x Mellow is now available for bookings around the UK for events, venues, and concerts. What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients enjoy our on-stage chemistry and our ability to be casual and charismatic with the audience. We strive on our ability to make audiences feel comfortable and ready to dance as soon as the mood strikes.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Individually both Freddy and Kelley have performed in countless venues across the UK - Freddy as part of function/wedding bands and as a member of various original bands, and Kelley as a solo singer around the North West. Together, the duo recently performed on a month-long contract on the Pride Of Hull and have since performed at venues in the North West.

Do you have different line-up options?

69 x Mellow consists of Kelley on vocals and Freddy on guitar and vocals.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We try to be as flexible as possible and we understand that sometimes last-minute changes need to be made. We try and accommodate our client's requests within reason, as long as we have enough notice.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, if you'd like a playlist service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £70 for a duration of 30 or more minutes.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually don't need more than half an hour at the most to set up. We can provide a playlist service to set the atmosphere until it's time for our performance free of charge.

Can you roam around while you perform?

No, as our guitarist needs to operate a microphone as well as play his instrument we will be limited to performing in our specified area. That said, we can perform sitting down for a more chilled-out atmosphere, or standing for a more lively performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists have been curated to ensure guests dance and have a good time and are songs we feel we can perform confidently and to the best of our abilities. If you have specific songs you'd like us to definitely include from our set list then don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA system is included in our quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If you have any specific requests for songs you would like us to play that are not included in our set list then feel free to ask us in advance. We're happy to have a chat to see if this is possible.

I hired this duo for a birthday party and they were fantastic! Excellent musicianship and they were extremely charismatic -would definitely reccommend!
