“FunkNSoul were absolutely amazing at our wedding. Each musician individually was incredible and together they absolutely smashed it. Everybody was so impressed and the kept the vibes going by keeping everyone dancing till late. Samantha was a great help and very responsive. We had a marquee wedding which the band were more than accomadating for and a sound technician who was really flexible with the setting up. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants a band at their wedding. Worth every penny.”

Professional soul & motown bands will often take requests, but you will need to give them plenty of notice. Please also keep in mind that soul & motown bands may ask for an small additional fee to prepare songs that aren't already on their song list. How much time do soul & motown bands take to set up?

My venue has asked for the performer’s PLI & PAT inspection certificates. What are these?

PLI stands for Public Liability Insurance. This insurance covers damage to another person or their property (it is also known as third party insurance). As many of our soul & motown bands are members of the Musician's Union, they are already covered by PLI up to £10 million. PAT stands for portable appliance testing. Most of our soul & motown bands will already have a PAT inspection certificate for their musical equipment/PA system, which they can provide to your venue if they need it.
