Pratiksha- Kate started playing at the age of 5, she attended the Conservatoire of Annecy, she played with the Haute Savoie Orchestra and she got a place at the Royal Scotland Conservatoire Juniors. She became the youngest member of Connect( Scottish Opera Young Company) orchestra, where she has since done many concerts. She auditioned successfully for the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, where she got the opportunity to take part in the Common Wealth Games and played in the BBC Proms. She took part in the RSNO Take-over weekend which she lead. She has performed all over the country, in many well known concert halls. She was invited to perform the score to the 1927 silent film ’IT’ at the ISME Conference in Glasgow with Patrick Doyle. Since, she has graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where she studied with a scholarship. Available for solo,orchestral, session work and chamber.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

When I played in the BBC Proms. This was so surreal!

Do you have different line-up options?

I can perform alone, with a harp or a string quartet and string duos. I can also sing.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know as soon as you can.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 hour before the event starts. I can play as people walk in, and exit after the ceremony.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set list is tailored for all the events I have mentioned. I am happy to discuss any specific requests you may have.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring my own instruments and playlists, and I am able to bring my own microphone. I play acoustically, however if the event is a large group I will need a sound system provided.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I am happy to discuss any requests you may have, so long as there is enough time prior to the event for me to learn them.
