Lillian began playing the violin at the age of 8 through the local music service in Fife, and by the time she was 15 had gained a place in the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland and subsequently Camerata Scotland. After leaving school she went on to pursue her musical studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and now spends most of her time working as an upper strings Instructor for Inverclyde Council. She has toured extensively around Britain and Europe with various orchestras and bands, and can be found playing for weddings in a string quartet or trio most weekends.
