Giulia

` Giulia Bizzi was born in Milan, Italy, in 1986 and started her journey with music from the age of five. Giulia studied the violin at Conservatorio “G.Verdi” in Milan, where she graduated in 2009 and thereafter a successful audition took her to the School of Music “Hugh Hodgson” University of Georgia, USA to continue her studies. In 2010, she was playing with the Accademia della Scala performing opera productions and symphonic concerts at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, collaborating with prestigious artists and famous conductors and touring throughout Europe and the USA. Giulia continued her studies and obtained a master degree in 2011 from Conservatorio “G.Verdi” Milano. In the same year, after a successful audition and trial, she was offered the permanent position of No. 2, second violin, with Scottish Opera in Glasgow. Giulia is an enthusiastic professional and a passionate individual, her versatile musicianship takes her freelancing around Scotland, often playing numbered seats within the second violin section, and first violins of BBC SSO based in Glasgow. whilst being busy teaching, for the council, and privately and performing in chamber groups and recitals.
