His significant break arrived in 2003 when a chance encounter, while assisting a friend with a set, caught the attention of a prominent club manager. This pivotal moment launched an impressive eight-year residency, establishing G-Roy as a fixture in many of Birmingham's most renowned venues. ​ However, in 2011, seeking a new challenge, he channeled his extensive club experience into establishing his own mobile DJ business. Since its inception in September 2011, DJ G-Roy's mobile disco has brought his enthusiastic and friendly demeanor to a diverse array of customers and cultures.
