Viva la Vintage Singer is a one-woman singing act based in the North of England, performing the biggest and best songs throughout the eras. With an array of genres such as jazz, swing, war-time, blues, soul, rock n roll, and more. But don't be fooled; although Vintage by name, this doesn't mean outdated. Alongside the classical, vintage hits, Viva la Vintage includes era-altering covers from the likes of Post-Modern Jukebox and Pomplamoose and have more recent artists such as Amy Winehouse and Arctic Monkeys. With an extensive repertoire and setlists that vary from jazz lounge, interactive, background and party, Viva la Vintage is a bespoke act that can filter into any venue and vibe. Having worked as a professional singer for almost 10 years for cruise ships and hotels, Abbi-Kaye is dedicated to providing every client and venue with the most professional and personable experience.

I booked Viva La Vintage for my husband's 70th birthday party after seeing her at a local jazz lounge. She did not disappoint. We had a fabulous evening. Abbi was so professional. She made the event personal to my husband which made him feel special for his special party. Her voice is amazing and suits the genre she sings. She knows how to get the party going and how to get everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves. I cannot recommend Viva La Vintage enough. Thank you for a fabulous evening!

Abbi-Kaye has an incredible voice that transports you back to a bygone era. Her vocal range is remarkable, and she effortlessly croons through popular songs from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Post-Modern Jukebox, Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Lady Gaga, Frank Sinatra, Jessie J and Michale Buble.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Boxing Day At The IVY, the gig was so successful that I have been asked back for a second year!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If timings are changed I'm usually more than happy to work around the changes. Unless prior commitments make it not necessary. However, if additional sets are added, a new performance fee will be calculated.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I am able to play background music from my iPad inbetween sets. However, cannot be used as a DJ after/before the sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

15-30mins

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

There are 3 ways to decide your set lists with me. 1.You can either choose all of the songs upfront from my repertoire that you'd like me to play. 2. You can choose some hard yes/nos and I can fill in the gaps. 3. You can leave it to me to make up a draft setlist that can be edited together I will always arrange the order of the setlist for flow purposes

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Depending on the event yes. I am usually able to learn 1 or 2 song requests for events. My wedding packages include a set number of songs for me to learn depending on the package. With extra songs for an additional fee.
