Andy H caters to his clients needs every time, following schedules to the minute and of course, being flexible when things run behind. Andy creates really personal experiences for his client’s and guests, which ensures everyone has memories that will last a lifetime and be looked upon fondly. The talented Andy has been active in the music scene since the age of 16 where he auditioned to sing for a band at the school talent show but lost out to one of the older, cooler kids. He decided to learn guitar in one week and enter against them. His brother taught him an Oasis song, he played to 500 kids.. and won first prize! Andy is an established musician having his own achievements in different corners of the music industry. Andy loves being on stage and performing and has the skill and experience to engage with an audience and cultivate a memorable experience. A great night is more than just a performance, it is a connection between people, and this is what he aims to bring to every single gig. Andy studied at Welsh College of Music and Drama and has many musical achievements under his belt. He was a semi finalist in the Billboard World Songwriting Contest 2006, a finalist in the BBC & Brit Trust Songwriting Contest and was voted UK’s Best Unsigned Band for the Global Battle Of The Bands 2005. Andy has played at various well known venues and festivals over the years including W Festival, Cardiff Castle, Get Loaded In The Park, Great Escape Festival Brighton, London Astoria, O2 Academy in Islington and Bristol and Audi Polo for a private event for Prince William and Harry with an audience including Tom Hardy, Jay Kay and Emma Watson. Andy has also supported and performed with big names such as Becky Hill, Ellie Goulding, Ella Eyre, Jack Savoriti, Magic Numbers, Zane Lowe, Sigma, Mr Hudson, Midge Ure, OMD, Ronan Keating, James Newman (Brit Award Winning Rudimental Writer) and Max Wolfgang. It’s easy to see why Andy is a crowd favourite with so many impressive achievements under his belt he is more than capable of delivering a high-quality performance time and time again. Andy’s confident vocals soar with each song from his 78 song repertoire. His favourite genres are multi-era tunes, however he has plenty of Britrock, Pop and Alternative. His musical inspirations include Pearl Jam, Damien Rice, Bon Iver and War On Drugs. Andy performs vocals with an acoustic guitar and can add backing tracks if required. The acoustic set works for smaller spaces, whereas adding the backing tracks is perfect for larger rooms, and those who are really wanting to maximise the impact of their event! Andy welcomes you to tailor the setlist for your big day. For a standard 2x60 mins or 3x40mins performance you can select up to 32 songs from his repertoire, and he will endeavour to accommodate all of your requests. For short notice bookings, you are still very welcome to send over your suggestions, and as always, Andy will do his utmost to accommodate as many requests as possible. Andy is also very happy to learn an ‘off the menu’ song request for you, for example, a first dance or your favourite song. Andy attends each event fully briefed and with a PA and lighting system so that he is fully self-contained, which makes booking the entertainment as simple as clicking the 'Book' button!
